Building Website in Systeme io – Funnel Builder or Blog Builder?

Systeme io is an all-in-one builder, so there is no doubt that besides building sales funnels, landing pages, and online courses, you can also build websites with Systeme.io. The confusion is which function in Systeme io you use to build a website, as no “website builder” is found within the Systeme io dashboard.

Today, we will have a quick look at which feature of Systeme io you can use to build a website.

Funnel Builder Vs. Blog Builder

Funnel and Blog builder are the two main page builders within Systeme io. Both are pretty self-explanatory.

In a nutshell, the funnel builder lets you build sales funnel (with order bumps, upsells, and downsells options). You can collect payment through payment gateways such as Paypal and Stripe and other gateways like Razorpay, Flutterwave, and MercadoPago.

On the other hand, the Blog builder allows you to build ever-growing blogs easily. And since it is within the Systeme io platform, you can integrate other services in Systeme io, such as accepting payment, collecting emails, and pretty much all aspects that you can do in Systeme.

It is OK to build a website as the builder or the editor works pretty much the same. You can build the page using drag-and-drop simplicity.

In the Funnel, you would create the funnel step to build pages, while in the Blog, you use the blog page/post.

Consideration 1: Type of Site

If you are building a static type website (e.g., 15 pages) without the need to update the site, using the funnel builder frequently is great. However, the blog builder is probably the best option if you plan to build a site with many content pages and an ever-growing site.

The blog comes with a layout that allows you to customize the header and footer of your site (standardize across all pages) and have an overview of your site. Any change you make to the blog layout will be reflected on the entire site.

You can do the same in the funnel using the block feature. You create the header/footer and then make them a master block.

Consideration 2: Systeme io Plans

Unless you are on the Systeme io Unlimited Plan (which provides unlimited for everything), otherwise you want to take note of what you create. For example, every page you create for your website (eg, products, services, contact, etc.) will take up the quota allocated for your plan. For example, the Startup Plan sales funnels steps are limited to 50. Once you have exceeded this number, you won’t be able to create new funnel steps.

So it is wise to plan ahead and know what you are building and your goals before you start building your website. Building websites in Systeme io is hassle-free and easy.
